I had a splendid warm spring Saturday last week with my friend Kate Warren, after grabbing ice coffee and strolling through the tree lined streets of Dupont we met up with Marshall of TPWP and went to admire the beautiful vintage pieces from the Butler & Claypool pop up store above Ginger Root. (Both are wonderful brands in DC, and you should definitely check them out if you too like pretty things from past decades.) The day ended with playtime with four of the cutest 4 week old kittens that Kate's cousin Jenna is fostering. They were so full of beans and reminded me there is nothing sweeter than a little kitten falling asleep in your hand.
Outfit details: Neon tee - Michael's/ Sleeveless trench - F21/ Pleated skirt vintage skirt I redesigned/ Silver Supergas sneakers/ Vintage handbag c/o Shoppalu.
**PS. This was my first time trying out the neon trend. I had been eyeing a florescent blouse from Topshop but was not too keen on the price so I bought this basic tee from Michael's craft store for $3! It just goes to show you never know where or when you are going to find something fun to wear. Keep your eye out!
