Tea Time with: Leah Reena Goren

One of the first Tea Time interviews I did was with the talented illustrator Leah Reena Goren. I was reminded of her lovely work when I saw her illustrations printed on pretty dresses on the "New Arrivals" page on the Anthropologie website. My favorites are the Feline Karma Dress and the Arctic Mini Dress, the polar bears are just darling!

Who are you?

Leah Reena Goren 

What do you do?

I'm an illustrator. 

Where do you live, and whats your favorite part about living there?

I live in Brooklyn, NY. I love New York because everything and everyone is here. 

How would you describe your style?

Practical, easy. I'm usually in yoga clothes and an oversized sweater. When it's warmer I love vintage babydoll dresses.

What have you recently become obsessed with?

Candles, mostly Diptyque ones.

Which 3 fashion items (clothing items, shoes, accessories, etc) would you say represent you and your style the best?

black leggings, No. 6 clog boots, vintage Chanel bag

Which blog/ website do you gain the most inspiration from?

I love Miss Moss and Where the Lovely Things Are.

Where do you dream of traveling to, and why?

France. I've never been, and it seems beautiful! I'm hoping to visit Paris this summer.

What to you, is the best part about blogging?

It's great to have a visual chronicle of my work and life to reflect on.

What do you think will be the next big thing in fashion?

Florals, always.

What is your fashion new years resolution?

Keep it simple.
