Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Diary 1

Sitting here at my desk at home, it's safe to say I have a fashion week hangover. I may have only consumed 2 cocktails during my week in New York, but they madness of The IFB Conference and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week truly took its toll on me. Dying for a good nights sleep, I am trying to juggle my mountain of college work and also write a report on what happened, the shows I saw, edit street style photos, etc. If I took one big sentiment away from the Panels at the IFB Conference, it's "be honest on your blog". If someone wants to see high resolution runway photos or read a detailed review of a designer show- they will visit Vogue or Style.com, I want to write an honest account of my experience, the good the bad and the ugly. But it was fashion week so mostly everyone was beautiful. For now, here are some photos I took on day one. 

Day one had an exciting start at 9am with the Nicolas K show. At late night fashion show the night before I met Samii Ryan, an all around awesome girl who's instagram and beauty tutorials I've been following for ages. We figured out we were going to some of the same shows so met up in the morning and explored fashion week as a team! Plus took much need Starbucks breaks. Check out Samii here.
